New to voice? If you are launching your first voice campaign, start with an Audio campaign. Audio campaigns are the simplest to configure — upload a pre-recorded message, select your contacts, and launch. Once you are comfortable with the workflow, explore TTS campaigns for dynamic content and IVR flows for interactive experiences.

Before You Begin

Before launching your first voice campaign, ensure you have the following prerequisites configured:

  • Provider Configuration: At least one telephony provider (SignalWire, Plivo, or Indian Route) must be set up with valid SIP credentials in your Organization Settings.
  • Caller ID: Configure at least one verified phone number to display as your caller ID. This is the number recipients see when you call.
  • Voice Minutes Balance: Your plan includes a monthly allocation of voice minutes. Check your current balance under Billing and purchase additional minutes if needed.
  • Audio Content: Prepare your audio files (greetings, IVR prompts, messages) or be ready to use the TTS Generator. Upload files to the Audio Library before creating campaigns.
  • Contact List: Have your target phone numbers ready, either as a contact group already in the system or as a CSV file for upload (format: phone number, name, optional fields).

How Voice Calling Works

Voxvaani connects to telecom providers (SignalWire, Plivo, or Indian Route) to place calls. The system uses your configured SIP credentials or phone numbers to route calls through the selected provider network.

ℹ️

Voice Minute Consumption: Voice minutes are deducted upfront at campaign launch based on the count of contacts. Each contact consumes one voice minute regardless of whether the call connects, is answered, or fails. Calls that do not connect still consume the deducted voice minute. There is no refund for failed calls.
